Bands and Musicians
Call us for your next album project. We want to help you
line up an engineer and/or producer who’s a perfect fit for your music to
track at our studio. There are some great engineers in Sacramento who know the
room and record here including Robert 'Flossy' Cheek (An Angle, Two Sheds, Bright Light Fever, RX Bandits), Eric Broyhill (!!!, Knapsack, Mother Hips, Zao), Scott McChane (Kyoto Beat Orchestra, Prairie Dog, Ghosts of California) and AJ Wilhelm (Steadyups, Brotha Lynch Hung).
Because of our Tape Op affiliation, we also know a lot of great engineers
around the country who like to travel and enjoy working in different studios.
Some of the engineers who’ve worked here recently include Larry Crane (my partner and the founder/editor of Tape
Op who’s worked with Sleater-Kinney, Quasi, Elliot Smith, Holiday Flyer,
etc.), Thom Monahan (Who's mixed records for Devendra Banhart, Bright Black Morning Light, Vetiver, Matt Pond PA and several other bands at The Hangar) Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Giant Sand, Richard Buckner), Andy Hong (Karate, Nedelle, Mary Timony), Oz Fritz (Tom
Waits, Primus, Las Pesadillas), Shaun Lopez (The Revolution Smile, Far, Deftones), Eric Stenman (Willhaven, Tinfed, Gameface), John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Son Volt, Sonic Youth),
Billy Anderson (Red House Painters, Neurosis) , and
J. Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines, Jets To Brazil, Promise Ring) among others.
Once you’re done mixing, we can
also arrange for mastering at Monsterlab Audio, our in-house mastering facility
owned and operated by engineer Eric Broyhill.
